What are the options to customize my Smart Tech E&O quote letter?

There are several options to add information into a Smart Tech E&O quote letter at the time of submission. Here's what to expect.

When preparing an online application for Smart Cyber Insurance in the CrowBar, you'll see check boxes that will trigger the addition of certain information to the quote letter Corvus sends you.

The current options available are:

  • Coverage Insights
  • Surplus Lines Taxes & Fees

We'll walk through each of these options in this article.

💡 Tip: you can set defaults for each of these options, so it's already marked the way you want when you get there on a new app. Defaults can be set under "settings" in the top righthand corner in the CrowBar, or via a link you'll see in this area of the app.

What you'll see in the app:

👉  Note: Throughout the quote we've placed hyperlinks to videos that explain certain coverages in greater detail. These are always be present in the quote regardless choice. Look for the 🎥  icons!

2. Surplus Lines Taxes and Fees

Selecting to include Surplus Lines Taxes & Fees simply inserts a line into the existing table showing Premium, Taxes and Fees in our standard quote, along with the disclaimer shown below.

This option is available for all Smart Cyber quotes. It is also available for Smart Tech E&O quotes.
